A prominent member of the Berlin Film School, Christoph has made a significant impact on contemporary German cinema through his thought-provoking and innovative storytelling.
His critically acclaimed works include Falscher Bekenner, which was screened in the Un Certain Regard section at the 2005 Cannes Film Festival, and The City Below, which was featured in the same section at the 2010 Cannes Film Festival. Till the End of the Night (2023) was nominated for the Golden Bear at the 73rd Berlin International Film Festival. His latest film, Death Will Come (2024), was nominated in the Best Film category at the Locarno Film Festival.
